Invite
the university community to join a campaign where activities and conferences
will be held.
The
activities will take place on weekends starting on December 4, they will be
expeditions with university students, cleaning the habitat, planting trees and
helping the animals by taking them to a proposed reserve of the same campaign
where their needs will be attended to in spaces opened by experts, this will be
financially supported by donations and university youth.
Facts
- It could remove 13 to 26 gigatons of greenhouse gases from the atmosphere by restoring 350 million hectares
- The loss of biodiversity is caused by the introduction of non-native (exotic) species that become invasive (pests).
- The habitats of thousands of species are destroyed by transforming jungles, forests, scrublands, grasslands, etc.
Activities
- Natural
areas will be cleaned to avoid disasters.
- Help
the animals living in these areas by preventing them from dying by ingesting
garbage, or being trapped in garbage.
- Reforestation
campaign in areas affected by forest fires, or used for immoderate logging
